Maharat Learning Center is proud to invite Mr. Dan Phillips, MS,CCC,SLP- Director of Technology Recourse Center Marin in the United States to be part of our Fundamentals for Inclusion Program. The program was developed to support teachers and special educators across the UAE to master modern teaching skills for children with learning difficulties, cognitive delays, developmental delays, challenging behaviors and special educational needs. Mr. Dan Phillips delivered the second workshop in the Fundamentals for Inclusion series on Using Technology for Learning and Communication. The objectives included fostering inclusion strategies and utilizing various opportunities to teach children new skills through online apps, software and e-learning programs to enhance the reading, writing, communication and social interaction among the children. Now a days, the development of virtual reality, multi touch screens and smart technology tools has increased the options for online learning in an engaging environment to enrich the learning experience of students with additional needs.
