Our Services
Assessments and Consultations
We offer families with SEN students consultations and Psychological, Behavioral and Educational Assessments.
Preparatory Classroom
We provide 1:1 ABA services, Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational therapy, to registered students in a separate classroom until they are ready for the transition to mainstream classrooms.
Transition Classes
We also offer academic support for students whereby they attend 70 % of the classes in a transition classroom and 30% in a mainstream classroom in preparation for their full transition.
Learning Support Services
To support inclusion, we can participate in the IEP development, support the classroom teachers and train the Learning Support Assistants on the IEP implementation and availing resources for students.
Life Skills Program
The life skills program includes academic and non-academic life skills, and technology skills designed for young adults.
Transition to University Program
We run a high school transition program to help students advanced to university.
Training and Professional Development
Our Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) accredited trainings, programs, courses and workshops are developed to strengthen the behavior management skills of SEN teachers and Learning Support Assistants.
Resources
Maharat provides partners with the necessary educational resources, technical solutions, online platforms to help support management, clinical and educational activities.
Supervision and Monitoring
We offer weekly/monthly supervision and monitoring of students with ASD, ADHD, specific learning difficulties including dyslexia and dyscalculia, cognitive disorder and other developmental disorders that maybe affecting their academic performance.
We are happy to recommend partner schools to students of Maharat Learning Center who are ready for inclusion.
