About the Role:

The main purpose of this role is to provide clinical or counseling services, assess and treat mental, emotional and behavioral disorders.

Key Reponsibilities:

  • Carry out psychological screenings & assessments for the clients to determine client’s needs, abilities or behavior using a variety of methods, including psychometric tests, interviews and direct observation of behavior
  • Administer and score tests, and write comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessment reports
  • Recommend, develop and administer appropriate suitable psychological interventions and treatment plans.
  • Organize programs that induce social and academic development in a learning group
  • Attend workshops, seminars, and/or professional meetings in order to remain informed of new developments in psychology.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside behavior technicians, speech and language therapists, etc.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • DHA License
  • DClinPsy or PhD in Psychology
  • Previous experience working with children with Autism Spectrum or related disorders and other developmental delays

Knowledge / Skills and abilities required:

  • Strategic thinker with good networking aptitude

    About the Role:

    The main purpose of this role is to implement techniques based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) during 1:1 behavioral intervention sessions with children with autism and related disorders.

    Key Reponsibilities:

    • Oversee ABA-based behavioral intervention services for clients and families, ensuring effective implementation of individualized plans.
    • Supervise and coach behavioral technicians / learning support assistants to maintain high-quality intervention.Provide ongoing guidance within each client’s individual program, ensuring each client’s continued progress towards realizing their maximum potential based on the recommendations provided by Clinical Supervisors.
    • Coordinate and integrate behavioral interventions for maximum effectiveness, regularly reviewing and updating plans.
    • Contribute to staff supervision, hiring, training, and evaluation within the behavioral intervention team.
    • Mentor the team for skill enhancement and creativity.
    • Encourage exploration of new ideas and programs.
    • Conduct school observations for skill generalization and identify improvement areas.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Active BCBA Certification
    • Master’s degree in Psychology / Special Education
    • Proven experience in behavior analysis

      About the Role:

      • Implement techniques based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in the center, home, or school settings based on structured and individualized treatment programs designed by a Clinical Supervisor. These include skill acquisition programs and behavior plans, to teach children with autism language, play, social, self-help, and academic skills, while at the same time reducing the occurrence of maladaptive behaviors.
      • Collect data and maintain documentation pertaining to each child’s program.
      • Provide ongoing guidance within each client’s individual program, ensuring each client’s continued progress towards realizing their maximum potential based on the recommendations provided by Clinical Supervisors.
      • Participate in clinic meetings, workshops and training seminars as necessary.

      Qualifications & Experience:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology / Education / Physical Therapy.
      • Previous experience in ABA and working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder is desirable. However, if you have a passion for working with children and/or are a graduate student looking for hands on experience you are welcome to apply.

        About the Role:

        The main purpose of this role is to assist in the preparation &/or modification of curriculum/lesson plans (to make them individualized), reports, academic materials, accommodations & modifications and ensure that all client related materials are maintained and organized.

        Key Reponsibilities:

        • Implement techniques based on Applied Behavior Analysis in the school and classroom school settings.
        • Implement structured and individualized treatment programs designed by a Behavioral Supervisor, including but not limited to Behavior Plans (BSPs) & Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to teach children language, play, social, self-help, and academic skills, thereby reducing the occurrence of maladaptive behaviors. 
        • Facilitate social interaction to help establish and maintain successful peer relationships.
        • Support the classroom teacher in managing children’s behavior and modifying the learning environment.
        • Facilitate functional independence by fading in & out when necessary.
        • Collect data and maintain documentation pertaining to each child’s program.
        • Participate in department meetings, workshops, and training seminars as necessary.
        • Communicate questions, child’s progress, or other feedback to supervisory staff.
        • Adhere to Director, Behavioral Supervisor, Case Manager & School Support Advisor’s behavioral intervention recommendations.

        Qualifications & Experience:

        • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology / Education.

          About the Role:

          The Employee shall perform Occupational Therapist duties, the scope of which shall include but is not limited to:

          Key Reponsibilities:

          • Perform relevant and necessary occupational therapy assessments and evaluations and write corresponding reports.
          • Design and implement structured and individualized treatment occupational therapy programs to teach each child.
          • Collect data and maintain documentation pertaining to each child’s program.
          • Provide ongoing guidance within each client’s individual program, ensuring each client’s continued progress towards realizing their maximum potential.
          • Communicate questions, child’s progress, or other feedback to parents, Clinical ABA Supervisors, Case Manager and ABA therapists.
          • Review behavior management techniques to ensure consistency in therapy, while at the same time reducing the occurrence of maladaptive behaviors.
          • Participate in clinic meetings, workshops, and training seminars as necessary.
          • Educate and train ABA Therapists in occupational therapy techniques utilized for each child, in order to ensure consistency of interventions.
          • Write progress reports to secure funding from insurance agencies using sound occupational therapy terminology.
          • Write school observation reports highlighting the child’s strengths and areas of need, as well as recommendations for school staff, for the school and the child’s family.
          • Assist in answering questions using a professional tone.
          • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and the general public.
          • Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization.
          • Arrive on time to all scheduled sessions; minimal cancellations.
          • Achieve performance goals / objectives as specified in the performance plan.
          • Maintain accurate and timely records including timesheets and reports.
          • Assist with other administrative tasks when required.
          • Represent Maharat professionally and ethically.
          • Provide such other services as are ancillary to the foregoing or as the Employer may reasonably request (collectively, the “Services”).
          • Qualifications & Experience:
          • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology / Education.

          • Minimum 2years of work experience as an Occupational Therapist
