Individuals with ASD and other learning difficulties or developmental delays often lack the ability to use skills related to Executive Function (EF) such as planning, sequencing, and self-regulation. Some individuals pay attention to minor details but fail to see how these details fit into a bigger picture, while others have difficulty with complex thinking that requires holding more than one train of thought simultaneously or difficulty maintaining their attention, or organizing their thoughts and actions. In this advanced workshop, participants will learn about the manifestation of EF difficulties and will be provided practical strategies and alternative teaching methods for students with EF difficulties.
