Wednesday, 24 January, 2018 Maharat Learning Center is proud to launch the Fundamentals for Inclusion Program which was developed to support teachers and special educators across UAE to master modern teaching skills for children with learning difficulties, cognitive delays, developmental delays, challenging behaviors and special educational needs. Ms. Sawsan Razzouk,M.A. Senior Applied Behavioral Case Manager over 4 hours delivered a workshop on Understating Inclusion and the role of teachers and learning support assistants. The objectives are to foster inclusion strategies and and utilize various opportunities to teach children new skills, socialization and communication through appropriate support. Ms. Sawsan has also discussed how to manage problem behavior, assist with academic tasks, facilitate classroom/group participation and last but not least, facilitate appropriate socialization.
