Another successful workshop by Ms. Fern Haris, Case Manager at Maharat Learning Center, who discussed Function Behavior Assessment (FBA) and Behavior Support Plans which would help assist teachers with necessary skills for inclusion. Maharat Learning Center was pleased to launch the Fundamentals for Inclusion Program which is developed to support teachers and special educators across UAE to master new teaching skill for children with learning difficulties, cognitive delays, developmental delays, challenging behaviors and special educational needs. About Fern Haris, M.Sc She graduated from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom, with a B.Sc in Psychology, and an M.Sc in Forensic Psychology. Fern has worked in the childcare field for 6 years; providing behavioral support services in school as well as in a 1:1 setting. As well as Dubai, Fern has worked in Australia and the UK providing intervention services.
