10 week programs starting October 2017

Maharat Learning Center introduces STEAM educational programs starting October 2017. In partnership with STEMA Center, our programs focus on areas of Science, Technolgy, Engineering, Art and Mathematics in a fun and interactive environment that is truly inclusive. Students will develop coordination, problem-solving, communication, social, team-working, gross motor and fine motor skills through creative, imaginative and innovative activities.

Our programs are led by a qualified STEMA Engineer and students will be supported on a 2:1 child/shadow ratio during the course. On completion of the course, students will receive an internationally attested certificate.

3D Design & Drawing | Mondays

Program Synopsis: Draw and create 3D models and shapes using a special pen. Convert your imagination into real designs. This course introduces students to manual 3D modeling techniques; unleash their creativity and drawing skills in 3 dimensions, apply geometry and material properties, build geometric shapes, bridges, hack their tools and add their fingerprints, and design different 3D models like: bikes, sunglass frame and more.

10 week program starting Monday 16th October 2017

  • Timing: Mondays 3:00pm-5:00pm

Young Engineers | Thursdays

Program Synopsis: Assemble different and colorful robots in each class, add sensors and motors, and program their behavior using blocks. This course will provide an overview about robotics, and students will experience different aspects in robotics, construction, sensors and motors, programming and controlling behavior using easy-to-use platform. Students will learn subjects like math, science, technology, and engineering more effectively while improving and developing their 21st-century skills, like problem solving, collaboration and communication.
